I recently tried out the new Rubbermaid ALL in ONE container system. I love it! There are only two sizes of lids with multiple sizes of containers. The beauty is this: you can pair any lid with almost every container. This helps to end the constant search of finding the proper lid when you are putting away leftovers. Simple and brilliant. Finally, an end to having more lids than containers or more containers than lids!

The lids come in 4 varieties and are designed for many types of storage applications. I have been a fan of the Product Saver line since they were introduced on the market. I use them for my fresh herbs, and greens. They help keep greens fresh much longer because there is a raised platform with aeration holes in the bottom to keep moisture from rotting the fragile greens. In this kit, you will receive two containers with this feature.

The premier containers are manufactured in a more stain resistant plastic and work great when storing spaghetti, enchilada sauce or other high-alkaline foods.

Last year I purchased a few of the Lock-its containers for camping. I stored meats and cheeses knowing that whatever was inside would never found it’s way out and that they would never become water logged and sink to the bottom of the cooler. They are extremely water and leak resistant with a rubber gasket type seal around all edges. I was elated to add two more of these to my collection.

The Easyfind containers are your normal Rubbermaid containers but have the added benefit that both size lids also fit all of the other containers.

I hope that Rubbermaid comes up with larger sizes, i.e. taller containers that use the same size lids. As a Professional Organizer I would appreciate the fact that the taller containers could hold a larger volume with the same footprint. This would enhance my constant quest to get the maximum efficiency from the vertical space available.

Last year I filmed an NBC News segment that offers more organizing solutions for your refrigerator. If you are interested, click here to watch.
